Sankranthi race has always been a popular time for filmmakers to premiere their films. With, Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy, Chiranjeevi, and Balakrishna have set the box office on fire this year. Waltair Veerayya was the obvious winner. Producers have recognized the value of releasing a picture around the Sankranthi season, and some of the biggest blockbusters are planning to capitalize on the festive zeal next year.
The debate over the box office clash during Sankranthi 2024 has already begun in Telugu film circles. Team Project K was the first to book the Sankranthi 2024 slot. Nag Ashwin directed this science fiction film starring Prabhas. It was recently stated that Mahesh Babu’s SSMB28 will also arrive for the Sankranthi race this season.
As of today, Kamal Haasan’s pan-India project, Indian 2, has been announced. Venkatesh’s long-awaited project with Saindhav and Nagarjuna’s project with Prasanna Kumar is in the works. According to rumors, Ram Charan will also appear in the Sankranthi race, the 2024 season with Game Changer ( RC15 ), directed by Shankar.
According to the latest trade reports, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rule will be released in a big way during Sankranthi next year. The film was supposed to be released this year, but the team wants to focus on festival screenings.
Sankranthi is the busiest festival season for Tollywood blockbusters, yet it cannot these many big films. As a result, it is almost certain that one or two films will be pre-released or postponed. Still, next year’s Sankranthi race movies are fantastic.
